If the Lancaster County Library does not own a specific book, the library may borrow it, if available, from another library through interlibrary loan. Requests for interlibrary loan service may be made at the circulation desk at the main branch or by e-mail.  Please supply as much information about the book as possible.

The Lancaster County Library also offers the reverse service to other libraries. Requests for interlibrary loan materials may be e-mailed.  Please include:  author, title, publisher and copyright date.  The library reserves the right not to loan materials that are rare, fragile or irreplaceable.
