What kind of friend can do this?  A friend of the Lancaster County Library is one who is willing to:

Promote the library and its services to the community

Host  special events and projects to benefit the library

Raise funds for library programs, services and facilities


The Lancaster County Library System's mission is to provide materials and resources to meet the changing information needs of a growing county.  The library system consists of the main library, the Kershaw branch, the Del Webb Library at Indian Land, and the bookmobile.

With limited funds, increasing costs and the desire to expand its services, the Lancaster County Library needs your support.

Your assistance will provide support the library needs to continue to offer its existing services, as well as to expand its book collections, media collections and computer technology.
